Who are volunteers?
RV Kids volunteers are members of the church who work together to serve our church body and others in the community. As well we have jr.high students that are part of an apprentice program where they are being mentored to be a leader in one of our groups.
How do I volunteer at RV Kids?
If you are interested in volunteering at RV Kids we require all our leaders to have a current police check and volunteer application on file. All volunteers will receive Plan To Protect training, as well as training that is directed to their area and age of children that they are helping with. We also have a 4E’s class that looks at what Royal View is all about and is a really good way to get connect with what is going at Royal View. Nursery 0-24months (moms that are willing to take a rotation welcoming new families, they will take a rotation once a month to sit and talk with moms or dads that may want to use the parents lounge, they can still enjoy the service it will be up on the tv screen that is in this room. )
Preschool Room – 2-3 year old room (This is a great room where God is really growing the kids)
JK-SK -Grade 1 – Kids Church
Grade 2-5 – Kids church
As well for both of these ages groups we have a large group setting as well as a small group setting for you to be involved with.
Wednesday Night kids zone small group leaders – Jk- Grade 5(This is our weekday program that is bible based and reaches mostly community kids but we are encouraging Sunday morning families to get involved as well. It is a great place for your kids to walk out their faith.
Choir and Drama Team – we have two major plays a year that the kids are able to be a part of and shine.
As well as there are many other areas that you can get involved, calling, admin, sending postcards. There is something for everyone in kids ministry, BUT if kids is not your thing talk with Pastor Bonnie or Pastor Sarah as there are lots of places in the Church where God can use the gifts and talents that he has given you.
